Awash With Flowers Card

by Rebecca

Awash With Flowers Thanks

Awash With Flowers Thanks

Someone was asking me yesterday, "How do they get all the colors on the stamps?" She would stamp her image in ink and think, "How boring!"

Of course, there are many ways to apply color to your stamping projects, and Stampin' Up!'s two-step stamping is one quick and easy way!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Awash With Flowers; Three Little Words

  • Cardstock: Confetti White, 5-1/2" x 2-1/4"; So Saffron; strip of Melon Mambo, 5-1/2" by about 1-1/2"

  • Inks: Melon Mambo; So Saffron; Old Olive; Basic Brown

  • Accessories: Melon Mambo 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Trim Punch

In Basic Brown stamp all your outline images on the confetti piece, then stamp all the solid images in Old Olive, So Saffron, and Melon Mambo.

Punch the edge of the Melon Mambo piece and adhere to the lower back edge of the confetti piece, and affix that to the front of the card.

Tie ribbon around the top edge and stamp greeting along the bottom.
