Tropical Party Card 2
This card again uses less than 1 sheet of cardstock to make... very economical!
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets: Tropical Party and Upsy Daisy
- Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Whisper White, folded in half, and scrap Whisper White; Island Oasis Designer Series Paper
- Inks: Creamy Caramel, Old Olive, Basic Brown, Pale Plum, Lavender Lace, Regal Rose, Crushed Curry
- Accessories: Post-It Note and paper for masking, Dotto, Acrylic Block G, 1-3/4" circle punch, Stamping Sponges, Dotto, scissors
Ink up your acrylic block with Creamy Caramel ink and stamp the brick wall. Punch a circle out of the Post-It Note and lay it down as a mask for the setting sun. Using all the inks but Old Olive and Basic Brown, lay down your sunset with the sponges. I also added extra Crushed Curry around the sun to blend it out more. Remove the circle mask and use the reverse mask to sponge on the color for the sun with Crushed Curry. Mask off the brick wall with paper and stamp your trees. On scrap cardstock stamp the coconut drink in brown, cut out, and adhere using Dott. Cut out an umbrella from the designer series paper and cover the brown one. Stamp greeting in brown.
