Fabulous Florets Birthday Card

When I saw Stampin' Up!'s 2011 Summer Mini Catalog I immediately fell in love with the flower stamps in Fabulous Florets (123025-w/123027-c). Since I wasn't placing an order right away and didn't want to wait, I ordered the digital stamps for My Digital Studio (118108) for immediate gratification! (The item number for the Fabulous Florets digital stamps is 124110.)

This card is a hybrid card. I created images to print out for my digital card making, then cut them out. Now they're ready to use on any card or scrapbook layout that calls for some bright, bold flowers.

I created this birthday card with this month's color challenge in mind, using Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Tangerine Tango. The leaves and stem were done in Wild Wasabi.

I used SNAIL adhesive to affix some of the elements, and Stampin' Dimensionals to raise some of the flowers. I used the Word Window punch on one end of the greeting and used Stampin' Dimensionals to raise that up, too.

The cardstock I used was Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, and Tangerine Tango.
