Faith in Nature Watercolor Stamping
by Rebecca
Faith In Nature
This is one of the cards we did at my Hostess Appreciation Party a few weeks ago. We did some watercolor stamping using our Stampin' Write Markers (pages 176-190) and Blender Pens (102845) on Watercolor Paper (122959), and then played with some embedded embossing with the Big Shot (113439) for a pretty dramatic look!
Instructions:
Before running through the Big Shot we first mounted the Peach Parfait strip on top of the Poppy Parade strip. Then we ran the whole piece through using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (120175).
Using Jet Black StazOn Ink (101406) we stamped two flowers and one leaf on the watercolor paper. We watercolored using our Stampin' Write markers and Blender Pens. You can lay down some color from your markers (or refills) on the top of a plastic stamp box or some wax paper, and pick it up with the blender pen.
Then we punched out one flower with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch (119850) and the other flower and leaf we cut out using the Paper Snips (103579).
I punched Baja Breeze card stock with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch for the scallop to mount the watercolor circle piece, and Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the cut out flower and leaf. The Mat Pack (105826) and Paper-Piercing Tool (116631) was used to put the holes in the scallop circle piece.
