Homemade Valentine Ideas; Make your Own Valentine Card; Love Greeting Cards

To make a Valentine card like the one above you will need the following supplies:

Love You Much stamp set
Melon Mambo cardstock base, 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", folded in half
Scrap piece of Melon Mambo cardstock
Basic Black strip of cardstock, 1-5/8" x 5-1/2"
Three Whisper White cardstock pieces, each 1-3/8" x 1-3/4"
Melon Mambo and Basic Black Classic Ink Pads
Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers
1-3/4" Scallop Circle Extra Large
White Pigment Ink Pad
White embossing powder
Embossing Buddy
Heat Gun
Stampin' Dimensionals

On the birds stamp ink up only the birds using the Basic Black ink pad and then use the Melon Mambo marker to color the heart. Stamp and repeat on each of the three white pieces.

Using the Melon Mambo marker color in the birds on one of the white pieces. Slide the felt tip along each edge of all the small white bird pieces. Mount these onto the Basic Black strip.

Stamp the hearts stamp randomly in Melon Mambo all over the Melon Mambo card front. Adhere the black strip near the top of the card

Rub Embossing Buddy on scrap piece of Melon Mambo, tap off, and stamp the Hugs & Kisses stamp in White pigment ink. Pour white embossing powder over, tap off, and heat. Punch out with Scallop Circle punch and mount onto card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
