"It's the Thought" Island Oasis Birthday Card
This card focuses on the Island Oasis Designer Series paper from the Summer Mini Catalog. All the vibrant colors and patterns coordinate beautifully!
I love to make birthday cards! It seems like I never have enough on hand. I made this funky birthday card for my niece who just turned 13. The greeting says "Enjoy the Journey."
Happy Birthday Kristina!
- Stamps: It's the Thought Hostess Level 1 from Summer Mini
- Cardstock: Whisper White, 4-1/4" x 11", folded in half; Melon Mambo, 4-1/4 x 3-5/8
- Paper: Island Oasis DSP in three different patterns and sizes:] 4-1/4 x 2-1/4; 4-1/4 x 2-1/2; 4-1/4 x 3-1/2
- Ink: Basic Black
- Accessories: Memon Mambo 1/2" Polka-Dot grosgrain ribbon, about 12"; Scallop Oval Punch; mini glue dots; DOTTO adhesive
Starting with your Melon Mambo cardstock piece, adhere each piece of Designer Series Paper from largest to smallest on top. Wrap ribbon around, tie, and trim. I used a mini glue dot to hold the knot in place. Stamp the turtle on a scrap piece of green designer paper in Basic Black, punch out with with Scallop Oval Punch, and adhere to card. What do you think?
