Punch Art Roses Thank You Card

Punch Art Roses Thank You Card

Punch Art Roses Thank You Card Punchart Roses Thank You Card Punch Art Roses Card Punch Art Thank You Card Close Up

This dramatic paper punch art thank you card was so easy to make. Let me know what you think!

Supplies:

  • Stamp sets: Occasional Quotes (hostess set)

  • Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Rose Red, Very Vanilla

  • Ink: Always Artichoke Classic Ink

  • Accessories: 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch; 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch; Decorative Label Punch; 2-Step Bird Punch (for the leaves); Square Lattice Texture Plate; 1 brad for each flower; mini glue dots, Snail adhesive; sponge

Directions:

The card is 5-1/2x4-1/4 base, with the texture piece smaller for layering. I sponged with Always Artichoke ink all around the edge of the texture piece, and a little lighter over the entire top just to emphasize the design a little more.

Punch as many leaves out of the bird punch as you want. Stamp the greeting in Always Artichoke on a scratch piece of Very Vanilla and punch out using the Decorative Label Punch.

To make a layer for the Decorative Label Punch piece, punch another piece from a scrap of Always Artichoke. Cut the Artichoke piece diagonally across (in an X shape) to make four pieces, and layer behind the vanilla punched piece.

I will have a punch art tutorial to make paper flowers for the roses soon.
