Punch Art Thank You Card Close Up
This dramatic paper punch art thank you card was so easy to make. Let me know what you think!
Supplies:
- Stamp sets: Occasional Quotes (hostess set)
- Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Rose Red, Very Vanilla
- Ink: Always Artichoke Classic Ink
- Accessories: 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch; 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch; Decorative Label Punch; 2-Step Bird Punch (for the leaves); Square Lattice Texture Plate; 1 brad for each flower; mini glue dots, Snail adhesive; sponge
Directions:The card is 5-1/2x4-1/4 base, with the texture piece smaller for layering. I sponged with Always Artichoke ink all around the edge of the texture piece, and a little lighter over the entire top just to emphasize the design a little more.
Punch as many leaves out of the bird punch as you want. Stamp the greeting in Always Artichoke on a scratch piece of Very Vanilla and punch out using the Decorative Label Punch.
To make a layer for the Decorative Label Punch piece, punch another piece from a scrap of Always Artichoke. Cut the Artichoke piece diagonally across (in an X shape) to make four pieces, and layer behind the vanilla punched piece.
I will have a punch art tutorial to make paper flowers for the roses soon.
