Prom Scrapbook Layouts
by Rebecca
Prom Scrapbooking 2010
I wanted to produce my prom scrapbook layouts quickly, so for this page I chose a picture-only template in My Digital Studio. I had quite a number of pictures I wanted to use on the page, so I counted them and then chose a page that had nine photo mats to accommodate them all.
Filling in each photo mat with a picture, cropping the photos to fit their mats, I then removed the top middle photo mat and replaced it with a text box for the journaling specifics.
The classic color combination of the black background paper and white text works well for the formal event. The whimsical heart from the digital stamps "Always" gives a more casual feeling to mimic the frivolity and goofiness in many of the pictures. I picked up the gold color from the skyline to coordinate with the flowers in Jackie's dress, and reduced the opacity to about 55%.
It came together pretty quick. My muss, no fuss! And I've already e-mailed it to everyone I know! :-)
